Remember that bumper sticker from the 70’s! (Don’t answer that!!)

It applies to real estate as well. A large piece of our sphere of influence are local folks who we may share a PASSION with for a global interest or issue. Connecting with like minded local people is a GREAT way to generate new business.

What does this have to do with Technology? EVERYTHING.

On Thursday I will show you some FREE ways to connect with people from all over Louisville who share your passions, concerns, and on whom you you will soon bestow the cash flow positive title “CLIENT” (grin).

Yep. Times may be a little tough right now, but the good news is that there are some simple, free, EFFECTIVE ways to connect with people. And while it is nice to have a blog to help with this effort, it is NOT NECESSARY! This can be done with VERY little technology and in literally MINUTES per week.  Are you interested?

Thursday 10am and 2pm!

I look forward to seeing you there!

Best

Eric

Does Crystal know something that we don’t. I don’t think so. Internet leads are often a numbers game. Over the months Crystal has just kept plugging away at them and things seem to be falling into place at the right time. Often times success is like that.

Congratulations to Crystal on her success. She is one of several RPE Associates to have closed MULTIPLE deals with the internet leads. It can be done!

One of the great things about the real estate business is that you can truly do: Your Life. Your Business. Your Way. Dawn’s way is to be “Eco Friendly”.  Want to see what she is up to?

Check out her blog: LivingGreenLouisville.com She blogs regularly and credits some of her recent success in connecting with like minded Eco Friendly folks in the homebuilding business to her blog.  What’s great about this combination of lifestyle and passion is that she is authentic. She really does care about this stuff and take the time to KNOW it. That comes through in both her writing and in her real estate business.

Way to go, Dawn!

Printer Prices Drop…Again

Lately several agents in our office have given themselves a printer upgrade. And saved themselves money at the same time! How did they do this? Here’s the scoop:

Color laser printers have been dropping in price in a MAJOR way. For the last 12 months or so, agents have been able to REPLACE their old printer for less than the cost of REPLACING a print cartridge on the old one! Sounds to good to be true? It is not.

Printer companies like HP are desperate to gain market share in a competitive environment. They are slashing prices on color laser printers. (The key here is LASER-IMPORTANT) They offer good quality, although not quite up to the standards of the Color Copier/Printer that we have in our office. The laser piece of this means that the toner cartridges are FULL cartridges and will last for the same length of time as a cartridge purchased separately.

What some of our agents have purchased: HP 3600 Color Laser printer – Online price $300. Should print 4000 pages (normal coverage) before needing new cartridge or replacement. (Your mileage may vary.)

Agents who have done this:

Sam Weakly

Bob Sokoler

Give them a call and see how it is working for them!
