- Christmas deals on computers have never been better. If you need to upgrade, now is the time.
- Review your cell phone bill and call your provide and ask for possible savings…often you can change your plan and save some quick money.
- Put the folks from your sphere on REMAX.net and protect them as YOUR clients so that you can get business from them this next year. If you are unsure how to do this, see us at Agent Services. We are happy to help.

GLAR LIST-IT System Issues
Hello Everyone,
We wanted to send an e-mail out to let everyone know that the MLS system for GLAR (LIST-IT) is experiencing some intermittent technical problems. The Board is aware of this and is working on a solution. Currently we know of at least two areas where problems may occur:
(1) Searches/Results
Performing searches may be slow or results pages may take excessive time to load.
(2) Listing Picture Uploads
You may experience various errors such as “Unable to connect to server” when uploading images for listings, especially when using the new Flash-based uploader. Many agents have been advised to use the older upload utility (4 pictures per submission) instead, but that is also experiencing trouble occasionally.
Since these problems are intermittent, the best solution for now may be to wait 10-15 minutes and try again.
When we have an update from the Board regarding the problems being corrected, we will let everyone know.
Thank you for your patience,
Damon
Eric’s recovery
They figured out how to get all the tubes, etc to be utilized outside the hospital and so Eric did, in fact, get to go home about 7 last night.
I’ve been told Eric’s recliner corner is looking like a mini hospital now- w/ IV pole, table w/ BP machine and assorted meds etc…
Before long I suspect you will be getting Eric updates from Eric himself. As much as we all try, I am sure the old saying “you can’t keep a good man down” will be happening!

Good afternoon.
The 4th of July is rapidly approaching. Now is the time to send holiday emails out to your sphere. Here’s the cool part.
1) They get there instantly. 2) No postage. 3) They look great with the tools supplied by RE/MAX.4) They are drop dead easy.
We are going to do them as part of the tech session on Thursday, so if you are not off vacationing, PLEASE make it a point to attend and we will get you in touch with your sphere in a whole new fun way!

E-mail and a new twist on HomeFeedback
The agenda for the Tech Session has changed a bit for this Thursday (10am and 2pm), but not much.
Yes, we are going to be taking e-mail marketing to web leads and others quite a bit further. If you missed last weeks’ session, be sure to make it this week if at all possible.
The other thing on the agenda is a new free (yeah!) and different way to handle feedback. This system is something that may be a good alternative for you.
I look forward to seeing you there!

New Louisville Foreclosure Site
Many of the agents in our office use the JCOMM site to search for foreclosures and when they will be sold at the courthouse. Over the weekend, we received word that a website has been created that is a “mash up” of the courthouse data, plus other sources to make it very convenient for Agents who are working with investors to get access to the information they need more quickly.
Here is the site. (If you work with investors, please bookmark it! I think you will find it useful.)
Lead Conversion Best Practices
Ever wonder why some folks seem to convert internet leads more than others? Me too! I have been working to figure out the best practices of those in our office who are the best at it.
Beleive it or not, they don’t spend all day at it, either!
In this week’s Tech Session we are going to learn some techniques that successful online lead converters have used for years:
The art of relinquishing control, yet keeping it.
The ability to EFFICIENTLY manage leads.
Making an autoresponse email look like a personal note.
How successful REALTORS are engaging potential clients online, but moving the conversation to a venue where they have the upper hand. The phone.
All this and more. I look forward to seeing you Thursday 10am and 2pm.
Click to Call and VoicePad – Connecting you with potential clients
We will be covering more on both of these technologies on Thursday. Both can make you money!
Have you ever heard of click to call? It is a technology that allows people who are browsing the web to connect instantly to you via your cell phone. This helps potential clients connect to you in your most effective medium (phone) during their most critical time (while they are on the site looking at homes).
VoicePad continues to be a strong technology that we use to connect with folks who are out, driving around and looking at homes.
We will be covering the latest ways to use these tools to make you Money!
Thursday at 10am and 2pm.
I look forward to seeing you there!

Scripts and Charts for VoicePad
Ever want a SUPER EASY way to explain ALL of the benefits of Voice Pad to a seller and make it irresistable? How about to a buyer that you want to sign up on 425-6100 so that noone bugs them and they can search for a home in peace?
I have been working on developing some really neat scripts and charts for VoicePad after Harrell showed me what several other brokers are doing and it is bringing them success.
He also brought home some great techniques for selling the true value of VoicePad from the VoicePad Users Meeting he attended.
We will be covering all of this on Thursday at 10 am and 2 pm. Please plan to be there if at all possible. The scripts will be posted on the worksite and the charts will be there for you to print and include in your listing presentations as well.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Eric
